AGEP Leadership Travel & Research Awards
Eligible STEM graduate students may apply for this competitive travel award to attend conferences and/or conduct research. This travel funding is on a case-by-case and reimbursement basis only. To apply for the award, contact the AGEP Program Coordinator, aguzman@grad.ucla.edu.
Scientific Excellence through Diversity Seminar Series
Seminar series presents a new paradigm for how diversity can be an asset to academic science. This seminar highlights researchers from genders and ethnicities that are underrepresented in science, who have utilized their diverse perspectives and interests to make scientific discoveries beneficial to their diverse community.
STEM-PLEDGE: Building Community, Mentoring, & Networking
Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics-Providing Leadership & Enhancing Diversity in Graduate Education (STEM-PLEDGE) is a graduate student organization providing peer mentoring, community-building, faculty–student interdisciplinary networking, professional development and leadership opportunities. Activities include workshops on how to best utilize UCLA's comprehensive e-journals and library holdings, successfully navigate graduate school, prepare for qualifying exams, and much, much more.
