WOODROW WILSON DOCTORAL DISSERTATION FELLOWSHIP IN WOMEN'S STUDIES


Deadline   10/13/2012 
Due to funding issues, the WW Women's Studies Dissertation Fellowship has been suspended for the 2012-13 year.
Description   Grants given to encourage original and significant research about women that crosses disciplinary, regional, or cultural boundaries.  
Award Amount   Grants of $3,000 are awarded for dissertation expenses. 
Disciplines   Open to all fields. Intended for projects in the humanities and social sciences; projects in fields such as management, the clinical and biological sciences, and law are not eligible unless they have a demonstrable academic grounding in the humanities and social sciences. Applicants working on health-related issues in the social sciences should consider carefully whether their work demonstrably centers on the topic’s social, cultural, and individual aspects. 
Academic Level   Working on Doctoral Dissertation.  
Citizenship   No citizenship requirements.  
Requirements   Open to students in doctoral programs who have completed their predissertation requirements and expect to complete their dissertation by the end of the award period. Open to women.
