NATIONAL PHYSICAL SCIENCE CONSORTIUM, GRADUATE FELLOWSHIPS IN THE PHYSICAL SCIENCES


Deadline   11/30/2012 
Description   The Traditional Fellowship covers the first two or three years of graduate school with the possibility of continuation of up to six years. The Dissertation Support Program covers the period of dissertation research and defense, up to a maximum of four years. The Internship Program is for summer research.  
Award Amount   $20,000 student stipend and $6,000 is NPSC's fee to support its operations.  
Disciplines   Physical Sciences. School of Engineering. NPSC generally covers the following: Astronomy, Chemistry, Computer Science, Geology, Materials Science, Mathematical Sciences, Physics, and their subdisciplines, and related engineering fields: Chemical, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical.  
Academic Level   Prospective/Current Graduate Student. Working on Master's Thesis.  
Citizenship   Open only to U.S. citizens.  
Requirements   Applicants should either be a senior with at least a 3.0, a first year grad student pursuing a Ph.D., be in a terminal master's program, or returning from the workforce with no more than a master's degree.
