| Description | Up to four research awards are awarded yearly for graduate scholarly work that contributes to the advancement of knowledge and learning in the psychology of the child. Awarded for one year. Must be nominated by UCLA. | |
| Award Amount | Stipend of up to $25,000 per year plus travel funds to attend the APA convention. | |
| Disciplines | Life Sciences. School of Education and Information Studies. Fields related to the psychology of the child including: developmental, child-clinical, pediatric, school psychology, educational psychology, and developmental psychopathology. | |
| Academic Level | Working on Doctoral Dissertation. | |
| Citizenship | No citizenship requirements. | |
| Requirements | Open to graduate students who have advanced to doctoral candidacy (e.g., typically after the 3rd or 4th year of study). A hardcopy of all application materials must be received by the UCLA Graduate Division no later than the campus deadline listed above. | |
