| Description | Science and Technology Group Fellowships are awarded to women who intend to pursue a full-time course of study at accredited institutions during the fellowship year in one of the following designated degree programs where women's participation traditionally has been low: architecture, computer/information sciences, engineering, and mathematics/statistics. Only women from ethnic minority groups historically underrepresented may apply for Focus Professions Group Fellowships which fund the following degree programs: business administration, law, and medicine. Awards are not renewable. | |
| Award Amount | Stipends between $5,000-$18,000 for Master's and First Professional Awards. | |
| Disciplines | Physical Sciences. School of Arts and Architecture. School of Education and Information Studies. School of Engineering. School of Management. Health Sciences. School of Law. Architecture, Computer/Information Sciences, Engineering, and Mathematics/Statistics. Fellowships in business administration, law, and medicine professions are restricted to women of color. | |
| Academic Level | Prospective/Current Graduate Student. Working on Master's Thesis. Working on Doctoral Dissertation. | |
| Citizenship | Open only to U.S. citizens or permanent residents. | |
| Requirements | Students must have the intent of pursuing a full-time study. Applications of business administration must be for 2nd year of study. Applications of law must be for 3rd year of study. Applications of medicine must be for 3rd/4th year of study. | |
