IZAAK WALTON KILLAM MEMORIAL POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BRITISH COLUMBIA

Mid-October to early November
Description   Approximately 10-12 fellowships are awarded for postdoctoral research at the University of British Columbia. Fellowships are awarded for 2 years. Scholars must apply to the department they wish to work with. 
Award Amount   Stipend of $50,000 per year plus a travel and research Allowance of $4,000 over 2 years. 
Disciplines   Open to all fields.  
Academic Level   Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   No citizenship requirements. However preference is given to Canadian citizens. 
Requirements   Must have obtained a PhD no more than 24 months prior to the anticipated fellowship start date. Must not have pursued PhD-level studies at any campus of the University of British Columbia. Must not currently hold faculty positions at other universities or colleges.Preference will be given to applicants who have not already held a postdoctoral award or fellowship.
