| Description | Fellowships for predoctoral training in the biomedical and behavioral sciences. Support is renewable for up to 5 years. NOTE: NIH also provides predoctoral support through institutional training grants. Contact your department for additional information. | |

| Requirements | Must be enrolled in a doctoral program. Fellowships are not made for study leading to a MD, DO, or similar professional degree. Applicants must have a sponsor who will supervise the research experience. Open to members of an underrepresented racial or ethnic group. | |
