FORD FOUNDATION DIVERSITY PREDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS


Deadline   11/14/2012 
Description   Sixty predoctoral fellowships for students in fields supported by this program and who provide evidence that they can fully utilize a three-year fellowship award. 
Award Amount   Stipends of $20,000 and award to the institution in lieu of tuition and fees of $2,000. 
Disciplines   Humanities. Life Sciences. Physical Sciences. Social Sciences. School of Engineering. School of Public Affairs.  
Academic Level   Prospective/Current Graduate Student.  
Citizenship   Open only to U.S. citizens. U.S. Nationals are also eligible. 
Requirements   Individuals holding a doctorate degree or pursuing a professional degree are ineligible. Membership in one or more of the following under-represented groups will be considered a positive factor: American Indian, Alaska Native (Eskimo or Aleut), Black/African-American, Mexican American/Chicano, Native Pacific Islanders (Hawaiian/Polynesian/Micronesian), or Puerto Ricans.
