ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY (EPA) SCIENCE TO ACHIEVE RESULTS (STAR) FELLOWSHIPS FOR GRADUATE ENVIRONMENTAL STUDY

Description   The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency plans to award up to 80 fellowships for graduate study leading to master’s or doctoral degrees in environmentally related fields of study. Master’s students are supported for up to 2 years and doctoral students for up to 3 years. 
Award Amount   Up to $42,000 per year of support, including $12,000 per year for tuition and fees, $25,000 per year in a monthly stipend, and an annual expense allowance of $5,000. 
Disciplines   Life Sciences. Physical Sciences. Social Sciences. School of Engineering. Health Sciences.  
Academic Level   Prospective/Current Graduate Student.  
Citizenship   Open only to U.S. citizens or permanent residents.  
Requirements   Students enrolled more than 2 year in a master’s program or 3 years in a doctoral program are not eligible. Women, minorities, and disabled students are encouraged to apply.
