| Description | Approximately 27 fellowships are awarded for graduate study leading to a doctoral or terminal master's degree in the arts, humanities, or social sciences. Awards are renewable up to a maximum of 4 years contingent on satisfactory progress to degree and funding availability. | |
| Award Amount | Awards range from $3,000 to $42,000. | |
| Disciplines | Humanities. Social Sciences. School of Arts and Architecture. Selected fields within these areas. | |
| Academic Level | Prospective/Current Graduate Student. | |
| Citizenship | Open to U.S. citizens or nationals, permanent residents of the U.S., or citizens of any one of the Freely Associated States. | |
| Requirements | Open to undergraduate students about to enter graduate school and graduate students who have not yet completed their first year of graduate study and who intend to pursue a doctoral or master's degree. Applicants must submit the FY 2011 FAFSA before January 31, 2011. | |
