Description		Approximately 22 programs provide postgraduates the opportunities to participate in scientific research at various federal governmental agencies and research sites. Full-time and part-time appointments last from 3 months to a year.
Award Amount		Stipend is based on research area and academic classification.
Disciplines		Physical Sciences. School of Engineering. School of Public Health. Including chemistry, computer sciences, environmental sciences, geology, physics and related disciplines.
Academic Level		Prospective/Current Graduate Student. Postdoctoral Scholar.
Citizenship		Open only to U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
Requirements		Must have received degree within the last 2 years or expect to complete all requirements for the degree prior to the start date.
