| Description | Approximately 25 fellowships will be awarded to support minority postdoctoral research in science and engineering for up to 24 months. Award may be renewed for an additional 12 months. | |
| Award Amount | Award provides a stipend of $45,000 per year consisting of three separate types of payments. Monthly stipend of $3,750 to fellow. A research allowance of $10,000 per year. An institutional allowance of $5,000 per year. | |
| Disciplines | Life Sciences. Social Sciences. Health Sciences. School of Public Health. | |
| Academic Level | Postdoctoral Scholar. | |
| Citizenship | Open only to U.S. citizens or permanent residents. | |
| Requirements | Must have doctoral degree awarded before the tenure of the award or have received the PhD within the past four years. Preference given to minorities. | |
