AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF UNIVERSITY WOMEN (AAUW) CAREER DEVELOPMENT GRANTS

Description   Approximately 60 awards for women who are preparing to reenter the work force, change careers, or advance their current careers. Funds are provided for tuition, fees, books, transportation, and dependent care. 
Award Amount   Stipend of $2,000 to $12,000. 
Disciplines   Open to all fields. However, preference is given to nontraditional fields. 
Academic Level   Prospective/Current Graduate Student.  
Citizenship   Open only to U.S. citizens or permanent residents.  
Requirements   Must be in the early stages of a master's degree program. Open only to women who have not received academic degrees in the last 4 1/2 years. Special consideration given to women of color.
