COUNCIL OF AMERICAN OVERSEAS RESEARCH CENTER FELLOWSHIPS FOR ADVANCED MULTI-COUNTRY RESEARCH


Deadline   1/15/2013 
Description   Approximately 9 awards will be given to scholars who wish to carry out research on broad questions of multi-country significance. Tenure must be of at least 3 months duration. 
Award Amount   Stipend of up to $10,500. 
Disciplines   Humanities. Life Sciences. Physical Sciences. Social Sciences. Must be engaged in the study of and research in the humanities, social sciences, and allied natural sciences.  
Academic Level   Working on Doctoral Dissertation. Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   Open only to U.S. citizens.  
Requirements   Doctoral candidates who have completed all PhD requirements with the exception of the dissertation, and established postdoctoral scholars. Must wish to conduct research of regional or trans-regional significance in two or more countries outside the United States, one of which must host a participating American overseas research center.
