| Description | At least two fellowships are awarded to minority students for completion of dissertation work at Williams College. Fellows are assigned faculty advisors and are expected to teach a one-semester course. Fellows must obtain prior approval from their department in order for the College to provide health and dental benefits, housing assistance, academic support, and an allowance for research-related expenses. | ||
| Award Amount | Stipend of $33,000 per year plus an allowance of up to $4,000 for research-related expenses. | ||
