WILLIAMS COLLEGE, GAIUS CHARLES BOLIN DISSERTATION AND POST-MFA FELLOWSHIPS


Deadline   11/15/2012 
Description   At least three fellowships are awarded to minority students for completion of dissertation work at Williams College. Fellows are assigned faculty advisors and are expected to teach a one-semester course. 
Award Amount   Stipend of $36,000 per year. The college will also provide health & dental benefits, housing assistance, academic support including office space & computer & library privileges, & an allowance of up to $4,000 for research-related expenses.  
Disciplines   Humanities. Life Sciences. Physical Sciences. Social Sciences.  
Academic Level   Working on Doctoral Dissertation. Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   Open only to U.S. citizens or permanent residents.  
Requirements   Must have completed all doctoral work except the dissertation. MFA candidates must be recent recipients of the degree. Open to members of a minority group underrepresented in American colleges.
