WILLIAMS COLLEGE, GAIUS CHARLES BOLIN FELLOWSHIPS

  Deadline   12/1/2009 
  Description   At least two fellowships are awarded to minority students for completion of dissertation work at Williams College. Fellows are assigned faculty advisors and are expected to teach a one-semester course. Fellows must obtain prior approval from their department in order for the College to provide health and dental benefits, housing assistance, academic support, and an allowance for research-related expenses. 
  Award Amount   Stipend of $33,000 per year plus an allowance of up to $4,000 for research-related expenses. 
  Disciplines   Humanities. Life Sciences. Physical Sciences. Social Sciences.  
  Academic Level   Working on Doctoral Dissertation.  
  Citizenship   Open only to U.S. citizens or permanent residents.  
  Requirements   Must have completed all doctoral work except the dissertation. Open to members of a minority group underrepresented in American colleges.
