| Description | Scholarships for doctoral research in France in association with a French research institution or archive. Scholarships provide up to 8 months of support. | |
| Award Amount | Monthly stipend of 1,500 Euros plus health insurance and travel expenses. | |
| Disciplines | Humanities. Social Sciences. School of Arts and Architecture. School of Theater, Film, & TV. | |
| Academic Level | Working on Doctoral Dissertation. | |
| Citizenship | Candidates do not have to be U.S. citizens, but they must be enrolled in an American university. French citizens are not eligible to apply. | |
| Requirements | Must have sufficient proficiency in written and spoken French to carry out research. Must be currently enrolled in a PhD program in an American institution. Candidate must have a research relationship with a professor from a French institution. | |
