CHATEAUBRIAND SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FOR THE HUMANITIES & SOCIAL SCIENCES


Deadline   1/14/2013 
Description   Scholarships for doctoral research in France in association with a French research institution or archive. Scholarships provide up to 8 months of support. 
Award Amount   Monthly stipend of 1,500 Euros plus health insurance and travel expenses. 
Disciplines   Humanities. Social Sciences. School of Arts and Architecture. School of Theater, Film, & TV.  
Academic Level   Working on Doctoral Dissertation.  
Citizenship   Candidates do not have to be U.S. citizens, but they must be enrolled in an American university. French citizens are not eligible to apply. 
Requirements   Must have sufficient proficiency in written and spoken French to carry out research. Must be currently enrolled in a PhD program in an American institution. Candidate must have a research relationship with a professor from a French institution.
