| Description | Up to two fellowships will be offered to study or conduct research in Japan for one year. | ||
| Award Amount | Stipends of $24,000 per year. | ||
| Disciplines | Open to all fields. | ||
| Academic Level | Prospective/Current Graduate Student. | ||
| Citizenship | Open only to U.S. citizens or permanent residents. | ||
| Requirements | Must be enrolled and in good standing in a graduate program. Students enrolled in professional schools are not eligible. Fellowship recipients must plan to teach in the U.S. after completing their degree. | ||
