DARTMOUTH COLLEGE, THURGOOD MARSHALL DISSERTATION FELLOWSHIPS
Deadline   2/1/2013 
Description   Fellowships for African American scholars to complete their dissertations at Dartmouth College. Fellows also participate in classroom activities along with scholars dedicated in undergraduate teaching.  
Award Amount   Stipend of $25,000 for one year plus office space, library privileges and a $2,500 research allowance. 
Disciplines   Humanities. Life Sciences. Physical Sciences. Social Sciences. School of Arts and Architecture. School of Education and Information Studies. School of Engineering. School of Theater, Film, & TV.  
Academic Level   Working on Doctoral Dissertation.  
Citizenship   Open only to U.S. citizens.  
Requirements   Open to scholars who are planning careers in college or university teaching. Must have completed all the requirements for the PhD, except for the dissertation, before beginning tenure. Must be of African American descent.
