| Description | Four to twelve month fellowship to extend research or to revise the dissertation for publication using the resources of the Society's library collections. The library offers broad research opportunities in American history and culture. | |
| Award Amount | The maximum available stipend is $50,400 | |
| Disciplines | Humanities. Social Sciences. Fields related to American history and culture. | |
| Academic Level | Postdoctoral Scholar. | |
| Citizenship | Foreign nationals who have been residents in the United States for at least three years immediately preceding the application deadline for the fellowship are eligible. | |
| Requirements | Open to scholars who have received a PhD within the last 3 years. Mid-career scholars are encouraged to apply. | |
