AMERICAN PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSOCIATION, MINORITY FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMS

Description   Two scholarship programs support research on issues related to ethnic minority mental health and on the quality of mental health treatment delivered to ethnic minority populations.  
Award Amount   Competitive stipends and benefits are offered to all fellows. 
Disciplines   Life Sciences. Health Sciences. Psychology, neuroscience related fields.  
Academic Level   Prospective/Current Graduate Student. Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   Open only to U.S. citizens or permanent residents.  
Requirements   Must show commitment to a career in mental health research or services relevant to ethnic and racial minority groups. Member of one of the following minority groups are encouraged to apply: Black Americans, Hispanics, American Indians, Alaska Natives, Asian Americans, and Pacific Islanders.
