UNIVERSITY OF KENTUCKY, LYMAN T. JOHNSON POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP

Description   Awards for minority postdoctoral fellows in under-represented graduate and professional areas to pursue an individualized research program under the mentorship of one or more UK professors and actively participate in departmental and professional research related activities. Fellowships are available for up to two years. The initial appointment is for 12 months, but recipients may apply for a second year.  
Award Amount   Stipend of $35,000 for one year, plus $5,000 for support of research activities. 
Disciplines   Open to all fields.  
Academic Level   Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   Open only to U.S. citizens or permanent residents.  
Requirements   Must have completed the doctoral degree before the date of appointment or have completed the doctoral degree within the past two years.
