| Description | Over 900 awards, in more than 130 countries, are available for postdoctoral scholars and professionals interested in lecturing or conducting research abroad. Approximately 20% of the awards are for research and the rest are for lecturing or combined lecturing/research. | ||
| Award Amount | Grant benefits vary by country, but include monthly stipends between $1,870 and $4,400, maintenance allowance, and travel expenses. | ||
| Disciplines | Open to all fields. | ||
| Academic Level | Postdoctoral Scholar. | ||
| Citizenship | Open only to U.S. citizens. | ||
| Requirements | Must have a PhD or equivalent professional/terminal degree at time of application. Requires university teaching experience for lecturers. Must have proficiency in the language of the host country. | ||
