| Description | Approximately 25 fellowships for postdoctoral and dissertation research in American studies, art, and culture at the Winterthur Museum and Library. Support from 1 to 3 months. | |
| Award Amount | Monthly stipends of $1,500. | |
| Disciplines | Humanities. Social Sciences. School of Arts and Architecture. School of Public Affairs. Open to the following fields: architectural history, Afro-American history, historic preservation, folklore, anthropology, archeology, art history, decorative arts, cultural and social history, women's history, and urban studies. | |
| Academic Level | Working on Doctoral Dissertation. Postdoctoral Scholar. | |
| Citizenship | No citizenship requirements. However, NEH applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents for the past 3 years. | |
| Requirements | Research must be relevant to the Winterthur�s collections. | |
