| Description | Program provides outstanding benefits and opportunities to students pursuing doctoral degrees in fields that use high-performance computing to solve complex science and engineering problems. Fellowship support is available for four years and must be renewed annually. | |
| Award Amount | $36,000 stipend + tuition/fees. Annual research allowance of $5,000 (first year), then $1,000 for each renewed year (up to four years total) to be used for the purchase of a computer workstation or for research / professional development expenses. | |

| Citizenship | Open only to U.S. citizens or permanent residents. | |
| Requirements | Applicants must be full-time graduate students at accredited U.S. university. Only senior undergraduate and first-year graduate students(At time of application) in engineering and in the physical, computer, mathematical or life sciences are eligible to apply. | |
