NEWBERRY LIBRARY, SHORT-TERM FELLOWSHIPS
Deadline   1/15/2013 
Description   Awards support dissertation or postdoctoral research at the Newberry Library for 1 continuous month unless other wise indicated. Its general collection focuses on the humanities within Western Civilization from the late Middle Ages to the twentieth century. 
Award Amount   Stipend in the amount of $2,000 per month for most short-term fellowships, some may differ. 
Disciplines   Humanities. Social Sciences.  
Academic Level   Working on Doctoral Dissertation. Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   No citizenship requirements.  
Requirements   Doctoral candidates at the dissertation stage or postdoctoral researchers. Scholars whose principal residence or place of employment is within the Chicago area are not eligible for most short-term fellowships.
