DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY (DOE), ORISE; FUSION ENERGY POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH PROGRAM

Description   Provides opportunity to conduct collaborative research in DOE's fusion energy research and development programs. Renewable for a second year. 
Award Amount   Annual stipend of $67,000 plus travel, limited reimbursement of medical insurance, and moving expenses. 
Disciplines   Physical Sciences. School of Engineering. Fields related to fusion energy sciences and technology. 
Academic Level   Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   No citizenship requirements.  
Requirements   Appropriate doctoral degree within 3 years of start date. Selection based on academic records and research proposal. Preference is given to applicants who request a participating facility other than the one where the doctoral degree was obtained.
