AMERICAN RESEARCH INSTITUTE IN TURKEY (ARIT), FELLOWSHIPS FOR INTENSIVE ADVANCED TURKISH LANGUAGE STUDY IN ISTANBUL,TURKEY


Deadline   2/5/2013 
Description   Up to 15 fellowships for advanced graduate students to pursue Turkish language instruction, over the summer, at Bogazici University in Istanbul, Turkey. This intensive program offers the equivalent of one full academic year of study in Turkish. 
Award Amount   The fellowships cover round-trip airfare to Istanbul, application and tuition fees, and a maintenance stipend.  
Disciplines   Open to all fields.  
Academic Level   Prospective/Current Graduate Student.  
Citizenship   Open only to U.S. citizens or permanent residents. U.S. nationals are also eligible.  
Requirements   Applicant must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate level academic program, or be faculty. Applicant must have a minimum B average in their studies, if still a student. Must also perform at the high-intermediate level on a proficiency-based admissions examination.
