| Description | Up to 15 fellowships for advanced graduate students to pursue Turkish language instruction, over the summer, at Bogazici University in Istanbul, Turkey. This intensive program offers the equivalent of one full academic year of study in Turkish. | |
| Award Amount | The fellowships cover round-trip airfare to Istanbul, application and tuition fees, and a maintenance stipend. | |
| Disciplines | Open to all fields. | |
| Academic Level | Prospective/Current Graduate Student. | |
| Citizenship | Open only to U.S. citizens or permanent residents. U.S. nationals are also eligible. | |
| Requirements | Applicant must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate level academic program, or be faculty. Applicant must have a minimum B average in their studies, if still a student. Must also perform at the high-intermediate level on a proficiency-based admissions examination. | |
