MONBUSHO SCHOLARSHIP (JAPANESE GOVERNMENT) GRADUATE RESEARCH SCHOLARSHIP


Deadline   6/10/2013 
Description   Fellowships for American graduate students to pursue research or study at universities in Japan for up to 2 years. 
Award Amount   Provides travel allowance, monthly stipend of 152,000-153,000 yen, and tuition expenses. 
Disciplines   Open to all fields.  
Academic Level   Prospective/Current Graduate Student.  
Citizenship   Open only to U.S. citizens or permanent residents.  
Requirements   BA degree. Must be willing to study Japanese language and receive instruction in it. An essential prerequisite is that applicants be in good physical and mental health. Must contact a Japanese professor and obtain a letter of acceptance from a Japanese university. Under 35 years of age.
