INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH AND EXCHANGE BOARD (IREX), SHORT TERM TRAVEL GRANTS

Description   fellowships offered for up to 8 weeks that support research that will make a substantive contribution to knowledge of the contemporary political, economic, historical, or cultural developments in Europe or Eurasia and how such knowledge is relevant to US foreign policy. 
Award Amount   Award of up to $7,000 
Disciplines   Humanities. Social Sciences.  
Academic Level   Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   Open only to U.S. citizens or permanent residents.  
Requirements   A command of the language of the host country sufficient for research is required. Open to scholars with PhDs or equivalent professional/terminal degrees.
