JAMES MADISON MEMORIAL FELLOWSHIP FOUNDATION


Deadline   3/1/2013 
Description   Fellowships are awarded to fellows that are committed to teaching American history, American government, and/or social studies full time in grades 7-12. These fellowships are intended exclusively for graduate study leading to a master's degree.  
Award Amount   The fellowship provides up to $24,000 in educational support over a two-year period. 
Disciplines   Social Sciences. School of Education and Information Studies. Limited to American history, political science, or education. 
Academic Level   Prospective/Current Graduate Student.  
Citizenship   Open only to U.S. citizens or permanent residents.  
Requirements   Fellowship applicant must currently possess a bachelor's degree, or plan to receive a bachelor's degree no later than August 31 of the year in which you are applying, or be a full-time secondary school teacher. Students pursuing PhDs or teaching certificates are not eligible. Required to teach in a secondary school after graduation.
