| Description | Approximately twenty-five one-month fellowships for dissertation or postdoctoral research related to the history of North America, principally in the 18th and 19th centuries. Awards provide support for one month of research in residence at The Library Company of Philadelphia and The Historical Society of Pennsylvania in Center City, Philadelphia. | |
| Award Amount | Stipend of $2,000. | |
| Disciplines | Humanities. Social Sciences. Open to fields related to American history and culture up to about 1880. | |
