UC UNIVERSITYWIDE AIDS RESEARCH PROGRAM, DISSERTATION RESEARCH AWARDS


Deadline   10/23/2012 
Description   Two year dissertation awards for basic, clinical, behavioral, or epidemiological research on HIV/AIDS that is attentive to the needs of California. Not renewable.  
Award Amount   Provides a maximum stipend of $25,000 per year for research and travel expenses. 
Disciplines   Life Sciences. Social Sciences. School of Public Affairs. Health Sciences. School of Public Health.  
Academic Level   Working on Doctoral Dissertation.  
Citizenship   The recipient student must be a resident of the State of California and a US citizen, or a foreign national holding a permanent resident visa (green card), F-1, J-1 or H-1B visa. 
Requirements   Open to applicants advanced to candidacy and attending a university in California.
