| Description | Several awards offered to conduct dissertation research or writing related to all aspects of architecture, interior design, and urban design and planning, and the fine arts in relation to architectural topics. | |
| Award Amount | Stipends of up to $15,000 for research and $20,000 for writing. | |
| Disciplines | Humanities. School of Arts and Architecture. School of Public Affairs. Open to fields related to architecture, including, but not limited to-urban design and planning, interior design, fine arts and history. | |

| Citizenship | No citizenship requirements. Open to students officially enrolled in schools in the U.S. and Canada, regardless of citizenship. | |
| Requirements | Ph.D. students who are presently candidates for a doctoral degree are eligible to apply. Must be advanced to candidacy and have departmental approval. Only students officially enrolled in schools in the U.S. and Canada are eligible to apply for the award, and a student may not apply more than once for the award. | |
