AGENCY FOR HEALTH CARE RESEARCH & QUALITY, GRANTS FOR HEALTH SERVICES DISSERTATION RESEARCH

Description   Awards given to support dissertation research which will improve the quality, safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of health care for all Americans. Candidates are required to address health services research issues critical to AHRQ priority populations. The entire project period must be between 9 to 17 month.  
Award Amount   Up to $40,000 awarded for the entire project period.  
Disciplines   Life Sciences. Social Sciences. School of Education and Information Studies. School of Public Affairs. Health Sciences. School of Public Health. School of Nursing. Research fields related to health care services. 
Academic Level   Working on Doctoral Dissertation.  
Citizenship   Open only to U.S. citizens or permanent residents. U.S. non-citizen nationals can also apply.  
Requirements   Must be enrolled in a doctoral degree program and have completed all non-dissertation requirements for their degrees.
