CALIFORNIA SEA GRANT PROGRAM, JOHN A. KNAUSS MARINE POLICY FELLOWSHIP

-Applications are due to California Sea Grant office. 3/29/2013-Application materials from Sea Grant program are due at the National Sea Grant Office.
Description   Highly qualified graduate students interested in marine/ocean/Great Lakes resources management and policy will be matched with hosts in the legislative branch, the executive branch, or appropriate associations/institutions located in the Washington, D.C. area for a one-year paid fellowship.  
Award Amount   Stipend of $41,550 per year. An additional $9,000 for health insurance and moving expenses, plus $2,000 to cover placement week cost. 
Disciplines   Life Sciences. Open to marine-related fields. 
Academic Level   Prospective/Current Graduate Student.  
Citizenship   No citizenship requirements.  
Requirements   Must be in a graduate or professional degree program at an accredited institution of higher education in the United States at the time of application.
