NATIONAL LIBRARY OF MEDICINE, ASSOCIATE FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

Description   Awards given to graduate students and postdoctoral scholars to participate in research and development programs and other activities at the National Library of Medicine.The program is designed to provide a broad foundation in health sciences information services, and to prepare librarians for future leadership roles in health sciences libraries and in health services research. 
Award Amount   Stipend of $50,408 per year plus health insurance.  
Disciplines   School of Education and Information Studies. School of Engineering. Health Sciences. School of Public Health. School of Nursing.  
Academic Level   Prospective/Current Graduate Student. Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   Open only to U.S. citizens or permanent residents.  
Requirements   Master's degree in an ALA-approved library/information science program, earned by August of the year of appointment or within 2 years.
