KOREA FOUNDATION, FELLOWSHIPS FOR KOREAN LANGUAGE TRAINING


Deadline   7/31/2013 
Description   Fellowships for 40-50 graduate students and postdoctoral scholars to learn Korean at a Korean University for 6 to 12 months. 
Award Amount   Awards include monthly stipends of 900,000 Korean won (about $760 US) for those with masters and 1,100,000 won for doctoral candidates. 
Disciplines   Humanities. Social Sciences. School of Arts and Architecture.  
Academic Level   Prospective/Current Graduate Student. Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   No citizenship requirements.  
Requirements   Candidates must have basic knowledge and ability to communicate in Korean. Also open to undergraduates with 2 years of course work in Korean language or studies.
