AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF INDIAN STUDIES FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMS
Deadline   7/1/2013 
Description   Two programs support research in India. Dissertation fellowships are available for 6 to 11 months and fellows must have an Indian research supervisor. Postdoctoral fellowships are available for up to 4 months or 6 to 9 months and fellows must be formally affiliated with an Indian institution. 
Award Amount   Competitive stipends and benefits are offered to all fellows. 
Disciplines   Open to all fields. Dissertation Fellowships: All fields. Postdoctoral Fellowships: All fields specializing in South Asian studies. 
Academic Level   Working on Doctoral Dissertation. Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   U.S. citizens and residents. Also open to foreign nationals enrolled or teaching at American universities.
