IRVINGTON INSTITUTE, POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS IN IMMUNOLOGY

  Description   The Irvington Institute for Immunological Research will award up to twelve postdoctoral fellowships in immunology for a six month period beginning in January. Fellowships are awarded yearly for basic research on diseases and dysfunctions of the immune system. These can include AIDS, allergies, leukemia, cancer and autoimmune disorders. Awards are payable over a 3 year period.  
  Award Amount   Stipends of $45,000, $47,000, and $49,000 per year respectively and are paid quarterly. 
  Disciplines   Life Sciences. Health Sciences. Fields related to immunology. 
  Academic Level   Postdoctoral Scholar.  
  Citizenship   No citizenship requirements.  
  Requirements   Priority is given to recently graduated scholars with MD or PhD degrees and less than 3 years of postdoctoral laboratory experience. Research must be conducted in a U.S. laboratory, university, or hospital.
