NATIONAL SCIENCE FOUNDATION (NSF) MATHEMATICAL SCIENCES POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS

Deadline   10/16/2013 
Description   Approximately 30-35 awards for research in areas of the mathematical sciences, including applications to other disciplines. Awards provide 24 months of support, within a 48 month period. 
Award Amount   Total fellowship amount is $135,000. $10,000 research allowance is paid to the fellow.  
Disciplines   Physical Sciences. Specifically areas of the mathematical sciences. 
Academic Level   Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   Open only to U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Native residents of a U.S. possession may also apply. 
Requirements   Applicants may not have held the doctoral degree more than 2 years and may not have previously received a Federal research grant. Application must be submitted electronically using NSF FastLane.
