AMERICAN LUNG ASSOCIATION OF CALIFORNIA, LUNG HEALTH RESEARCH DISSERTATION GRANTS
Deadline   10/20/2012 
Description   Grants are awarded for up to two years to individuals who will conduct dissertation research on issues relevant to people with lung disease. 
Award Amount   Awards are up to $21,000 per year and cover stipend and research support. 
Disciplines   Life Sciences. Social Sciences. School of Nursing. Psychosocial, behavioral, health services, health policy, epidemiological, biostatistical and educational matters related to lung disease. 
Academic Level   Working on Doctoral Dissertation.  
Citizenship   U.S. citizens or residents. Also open to Canadian citizens or permanent residents. 
Requirements   Applicants must have an academic career focus. Individuals with an MD who wish to pursue a PhD are not eligible.
