AMERICAN SOCIETY OF HEATING, REFRIGERATION, AND AIR-CONDITIONING ENGINEERS (ASHRAE), NEW INVESTIGATOR AWARD

Description		Several awards to for one year to enhance the academic careers of recent PhD. recipients by providing support for research activities related to the goals of ASHRAE. Awards may be renewed for 2 more years.
Award Amount		Grant of $50,000 per year in the first two years with an additional award of $25,000 available in the 3rd year if it is matched by an industrial contributor.
Disciplines		School of Arts and Architecture. School of Engineering. Engineering, Science or Architecture.
Academic Level		Postdoctoral Scholar.
Citizenship		No citizenship requirements.
Requirements		Applicants must be nominated by their Department Head or Chairman. Nominees must be within 5 years of receiving a Ph.D. or an equivalent degree and be within 5 years of the start of their first full-time tenure-track or tenured faculty position or equivalent at their nominating institution.
