ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL RESEARCH COUNCIL (ESRC), POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP
Deadline   Open Deadline 
Description   Approximately 85 fellowships to new researchers for one year of full-time or two years of part-time research work immediately after the completion of doctorate. Award not renewable.  
Award Amount   Competitive stipends and benefits offered to all fellows. 
Disciplines   Open to all fields. Particular preference will be given to: Area Studies (study of developing countries in particular), Economics, International Collaborative work, Quantitative work including social statistics and demography, Interdisciplinary work including work with the natural and physical sciences. 
Academic Level   Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   No citizenship requirements.  
Requirements   Must have received Ph.D. within the last three years or expect to receive a degree by the time fellowship commences.
