| Description | Approximately 70 fellowships to new researchers for one year of full-time or two years of part-time research work immediately after the completion of doctorate. Award not renewable. | ||
| Award Amount | Competitive stipends and benefits offered to all fellows. | ||
| Disciplines | Open to all fields. Particular preference will be given to: Area Studies (study of developing countries in particular), Economics, International Collaborative work, Quantitative work including social statistics and demography, Interdisciplinary work including work with the natural and physical sciences. | ||
| Academic Level | Postdoctoral Scholar. | ||
| Citizenship | No citizenship requirements. | ||
| Requirements | Must have received Ph.D. within the last three years or expect to receive a degree by the time fellowship commences. | ||
