AMERICAN LUNG ASSOCIATION OF CALIFORNIA, RESEARCH TRAINING FELLOWSHIPS

Description   Grants to postdoctoral scholars who have demonstrated a commitment to investigative or academic research relevant to lung biology, health, and disease. 
Award Amount   Awards offer stipends of up to $32,500 for a duration of two years. 
Disciplines   Life Sciences. Social Sciences. School of Public Health. School of Nursing.  
Academic Level   Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   U.S. citizens or residents. Also open to Canadian citizens, or foreign nationals with permanent visas working in U.S. institutions. 
Requirements   Awards are limited to applicants who hold a degree of MD, PhD (or equivalent) and doctoral nursing candidates seeking further training as scientific investigators.
