SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTION, MOLECULAR EVOLUTION FELLOWSHIP

Description   Award supports 12-24 months of molecular evolution research and analytic methods at the Smithsonian Institution molecular research facilities in Washington, DC and the Republic of Panama. 
Award Amount   $45000 per year, prorated between 12 and 24 months, plus a travel allowance. 
Disciplines   Life Sciences. Health Sciences.  
Academic Level   Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   No citizenship requirements.  
Requirements   Applicants must have completed or be near completion of the PhD and must have the ability to write and converse fluently in English.Applicants who wish to conduct research using live animals must submit their proposals for review by one of the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committees (IACUC).
