ROYAL SOCIETY USA RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS
Deadline   1/12/2013 
Description   Fellowship supports up to three years of research in UK laboratories to increase scientific collaboration between centers of excellence in the UK and the USA.  
Award Amount   Fellowships include £24,000 per annum to cover subsistence and £8,000 to cover research expenses, plus a one-off relocation allowance of £2,000. 
Disciplines   Life Sciences. Physical Sciences. School of Engineering. Awards not granted in clinical medical research. 
Academic Level   Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   Applicants must be US or Canadian Nationals. 
Requirements   Must have a recent PhD or expect to obtain a PhD in advance of the proposed start date. Application must be approved and submitted by applicant's university department. For this reason, applications should be submitted to the department at least 5 days before the closing date.
