SMITHSONIAN ENVIRONMENTAL RESEARCH CENTER, SERC INTERNSHIP PROGRAM IN ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES


Deadline   2/1/2013 
-for summer. 6/1/2013 -for fall.
Description   Several full-time (40 hours per week) internships offered for 12-16 weeks to undergraduate and beginning graduate students or students who have recently graduated from an undergraduate or Masters program. The internship allows for hands-on experience in the fields of environmental research and education. Students work on projects under the direction of SERC's professional staff.  
Award Amount   Stipend of $500 per week.  
Disciplines   Life Sciences. Physical Sciences. School of Education and Information Studies. School of Public Health. Including fields related to: environmental education and environmental information management.  
Academic Level   Prospective/Current Graduate Student.  
Citizenship   No citizenship requirements.  
Requirements   Must be currently enrolled in a university as an undergraduate or beginning graduate student, or have recently graduated from an undergraduate or Masters program. Applicants must be in a position to commit fully to the completion of a project.
