MONTEREY BAY AQUARIUM RESEARCH INSTITUTE, SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Description   Internships offered to undergraduate and graduate students (including recent graduates) and educators to conduct research in ocean science and technology at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Focus is on intern's professional development, learning research techniques, and improving communication and collaboration skills. Internship supports 10 weeks of research. 
Award Amount   Stipend of $500 per week with potential partial travel support.

Ocean observation systems, mechanical engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, sensor development, physical oceanography, chemical oceanography, ocean-floor mapping, geology, microbiology, deep-sea ecology, web design, video technology, science writing
