SMITHSONIAN CENTER FOR EDUCATION & MUSEUM STUDIES (SCEMS), FELLOWSHIPS IN MUSEUM PRACTICE

Description   One or more fellowships are offered to to mid- and senior-level museum personnel, researchers and training providers as a means for addressing the information and learning needs of the museum profession at SCEMS in Washington, DC for up to 6 months. 
Award Amount   Stipend of $3,500 per month plus round-trip travel expenses. 
Disciplines   Humanities. School of Arts and Architecture. School of Management. Open to all disciplines related to functional areas of work in museum, cultural, and educational organizations. 
Academic Level   Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   No citizenship requirements.  
Requirements   Applicants must be employed by a not-for-profit (50l-C-3) cultural or educational institution that deals directly with the public or be an independent scholar. Must be fluent in spoken and written English.
