SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTION, SMITHSONIAN MARINE STATION AT FORT PIERCE FELLOWSHIPS

Description   Fellowships offered to postdoctoral, and senior postdoctoral investigators to conduct research in association with members of the Smithsonian professional research staff, and to utilize the resources of the Smithsonian Marine Station at Fort Pierce. Award supports 6 to 12 months of research for predoctoral and postdoctoral fellows, and 3 to 12 months for senior postdoctoral fellows. 
Award Amount   Stipends start at $45,000 and can go up to $55,000 for group health insurance, travel from place of origin to the Smithsonian host facility, research travel and supplies.

Academic Level   Prospective/Current Graduate Student. Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   No citizenship requirements.  
Requirements   Predoctoral students must be enrolled in a university as a candidate for the Ph.D. or equivalent. Postdoctoral scholars must have received the Ph.D. or equivalent within seven years prior to February 15. Senior Postdoctoral scholars must have received the Ph.D. or equivalent more than seven years prior to February 15.
